Panchgani (पंचगणि) - The name has a reason, a number and a history. Founded by a British named John Chesson in 1860s who was accompanied by Mr Rustomji Dubash, discovered an unnamed area that not only has 5 villages but was also surrounded by 5 hills. Hence the name Panchgani.
Since it's a hill stations the tempratures here are very pleasing all round the year and making it a great hill stations getaway.
